I wonder how many business people, economists, etc back the Tories, i expect there to be loads..
i can't access the link..
Unsure how many economists are in the UK. Or why I'd trust them to be right. But it matters little anyway. The economy takes second place to democracy, and our sovereignty, and all the opposition parties proved themselves unfit to protect our democracy or regain our sovereignty of late.
Considering there must be thousands of economists in the country 163 is probably a very small percentage - maybe they are the ones who support Labour.

Contrary? That link is the IFS.

"Must be," and "probably," yes you have already made up your mind and just selectively choosing the evidence to support your bias.
are these the same ones that said we'd be in penury if we didn't join the Euro?

Yes, which is contrary to the 163 Economists statement.
so the DM has managed to find 163 "economists" who back Labour! Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs! We must all vote for Jezza then! PMSL!
"Jeremy Corbyn’s plans to raise a “colossal” £83billion in extra taxes to fund an unprecedented public spending spree are “simply not credible”, the Institute for Fiscal Studies has warned.

This morning the Labour leader unveiled the most expensive prospectus in British political history as he launched his manifesto with an attack on the political establishment.

In anticipation of criticism of the scale of his spending commitments he quoted Franklin D. Roosevelt, the former US president, who said: “We welcome the hate.”

The Institute for Fiscal Studies said the plans would create the biggest tax burden since World War II while the Resolution Foundation, another think tank, said the size of the state would reach a post-war high and outstrip even Germany." - right oh!

Bazile, //People have already made up their minds who their x is going against tomorrow //

Actually, one here changed her mind just a few hours ago. She wasn't going to vote at all but will now support the Conservatives.
Who are these 'Top' economists? The Mirror says 'Here's the letter in full' but I can't see the names of the signatories. Are you sure it wasn't written by the tea boy at the Mirror offices?
Another thing. Why would 'top' economists send such a letter to the Daily Mirror? Hardly a newspaper to be taken seriously. More of a comic really. Something not right about this story.
