Your quite right people do have rights and one of those rights is not to have a drunken woman roaming up and down the aisle demanding more wine and random sex wherever available. Insulting behaviour as well. The airline should have landed at the nearest airport had her offloaded, cancelled her air ticket and told her to make her own way home. They should then...

When we're done here there's an island in the Hebrides looking for an earnest individual to make sure the playground swings are chained up on Sundays.

The position may also involve some light preaching.
I know just the person Douglas. :-)
It's a shame best answer's already gone.
AH:"I am not saying "I don't like it so you can't have it …" I am saying that compromising safety for profit is unacceptable. " - many businesses do that Andy, Boeing for example, you do seem overly fixated on airports when more or less all businesses do the same. What do you think of YMB's idea of a register of offenders and banning them from flying etc?

//Or would you be happy if the Spoons opened up in the airports?//

Wetherspoons has branches in most of the UK's large airports, youngmaf.
I bloody love weatherspoons
Well, Glasgow / Edinburgh / Aberdeen / Birmingham / Doncaster / Heathrow and Gatwick. So not really 'most' or 'large'.
Zacs, there are more than that.
They're a helluva lot more expensive than standard Spoons as well. (or the Heathrow T5 'Crown Rivers' one is).
Then why aren't they listed?
I was in gatwick spoons recently, prices were the same as other spoons i’ve been to

They had about 50 tea and coffee refill stations also, very efficient
Zacs, the ones listed are the “other ones”, if you read the link i provided. I think gatwick has 3 spoons.
It does. and I listed Gatwick. Where are the others?

//Or would you be happy if the Spoons opened up in the airports? //

Bit late there YMF. Wetherspoons have operated several pubs in several UK International Airports for the last 10 ? Years or so. Not as cheap as the High Street spoons due to overheads.
I know East Midlands has one. It was heaving when we were there in June. Mainly full of stag and hen groups getting loud and drunk. I sat cradling my one glass of Pinot hoping that none of them were on our flight.
Not sure there's one at East Midlands.

Total nonsense. I was in Gatwick Spoons on the 18th December. The prices are far higher than my regular High St spoons. You will not get a pint of Abbot ale for £2.10p at Gatwick. You will at the Nonsuch Inn just up the road. The prices vary greatly due to overheads, location and rent.
