British Democracy??
The arrogance of the Westminster dictators knows no bounds. Now with a parliamentary majority the tories feel able to do exactly as they please. The most recent statements are chilling if you are a democrat. Quote "it does not matter what the people of Scotland want" and
"it does not matter how the Scottish Parliament votes" we will ignore them and do what we want. They have the same reaction to the Northern Irish and the Welsh. They act like colonialists rather than partners in a union of equals. However the brexit train will hit the buffers when trade agreement terms are dictated and determined by the big boys - USA, EU, China and India. Little England will be exposed.

The government is the UK government Rich, the clue is in the name. They don't care what my high st wants either, they govern for the UK. Scotland have already had there referendum. It's not "little England" me old china, if anything it's "little" UK. If get your way it'll be Microscopic Scotland, do you want that?
Oh dear, a cross Scotsman who doesnt like or understand the democracy we have.
The Scottish were told it was once in a generation vote. A generation has not passed yet and as referendums are very expensive (I doubt the wee lassie will let Scotland pay for it) there is no need to give you one. Try again once the generation is up, if the answer then is still the same maybe you will have a point.

Scotland perceives itself as more important than it is. In terms of population it's smaller than Yorkshire. There are other parts of the UK that voted Remain or voted other than Tory overall but they can't all expect their region to be allowed to remain in the EU or to claim they shouldn't be ruled by a Tory government
