Sicerack //There are 40,000 of these creatures on Jihad watch and it takes 20+ officers to watch one of them.// The idea that in order to protect society (the first duty of any government) we have to have more & more police surveillance of potential Jihadis is misguided 'top-down' thinking. We have to attack the root causes. These attacks have a religious...

Psychology is not culture... brains are the same everywhere. Whatever is inherited in the West, is the same in the east.
I have every respect for you, and your knowledge about religion, however, you have blatantly no knowledge about psychology or psychiatry, so sometimes, your interpretations about the reasoning are way off.

andy hughes-//But interpretation is individual - a seriously twisted and deranged Christian is just as likely to cut of his 'offending' hand as a seriously twisted and devout Muslim is like to start killing infidels.//
In the last 30 days 885 people have been killed in 114 Islamist terror attacks. Over to you.

Pixie, people across the world are being blown up, stabbed, run down by vehicles, shot, and slaughtered in one way or another, in the vast majority of instances by people of the same culture. The ‘Best Answer’ here declares that there are many thousands of Muslims on Jihad watch - and there are. That is a fact. None of that is coincidental. Forget your western psychology. It doesn’t apply to Islam - and if you think it does, I can only suggest you study Islam.
If that genuinely is the case... the point is "why?". And I promise you... it is not because of a book. We can never do anything about this, if we refuse to look at it honestly, and just believe it is due to religion, rather than individuals.

And yes, psychology is a really one of the most fact-based, accurate, precise, error-free areas of study isn't it?
I'll explain this to you (and andy) Write a letter to the Gov and explain that terrorists are 'born the way they are'.
You see, because they're spending £millions to find out how they became radicalised and to try and deradicalise them.
If what Professor Hughes and Doctor Pix claim is right, they're just wasting time and money.

Spicerack, of course psychotics are born the way they are, any psychologist can tell you that.
There is ample evidence of converts to Islam from the UK performing acts of terrorism.
They converted, not to be Muslims, who are peaceful people, but to be Jihadists, because extremism gives them a convenient peg, plus a convenient support structure, through which they can indulge their psycoathy.
Why do you find that concept so hard to grasp?
