As long as Corbyn was the paragon of all things good Diddles....NOT !
Zacs Master //I think diddly is forgetting that we still have Brexit negotiations to attend to. Boris is surrounding himself with a cabinet which will support him. Very sensible.//

Agreed.

What a childish answer Diddly. "I'm not bothering to talk to you any more because you are all stupid and I know I'm right" and stomps off across the playground!
Looking at previous threads it appears to take 10 minutes to do a "costume change". :))
I shall not tire of iterating how lucky we are to have Boris. Power-mad? No, ambitious for his country. Dangerous? Not half as dangerous as his predecessors.
Agreed Jackdaw.

I can't even begin to comprehend how any thinking person can believe that Boris is the right person to be PM.
Power crazy and dangerous is with us for another 5 years, diddly.
diddly, //I can't even begin to comprehend how any thinking person can believe that Boris is the right person to be PM. //

Like you and the rest of the self-appointed intelligentsia, I thought Jeremy was a cert - what a wonderful world that would have been - businesses destroyed, dole queues, strikes - but we can't have it all our own way, you know. Sadly common sense triumphs and democracy rules. ;o)
I'd say make it at least another 10 years and I will be able to sleep peacefully in my bed.
Diddly / intelligentsia in the same sentence. Wow.
// I'm afraid, in this instance, JD, Jim could be right.//

Support from an unexpected source, but I'll take it.

All the same, I'd rather JH was right than I was. It doesn't serve our country any favours to elect a Dictator, no matter how benevolent. Let's hope that it's merely an attempt to assert authority early to make a point, and he'll then "settle down" and get on with proving me wrong in other ways to.

Realistically the bigger problem is Cummings, who is accountable to nobody and is surely precisely the sort of unelected, unaccountable (to the people) official running things that Brexit was meant to be getting rid of.
//unelected, unaccountable (to the people) official running things that Brexit was meant to be getting rid of. //

There's a first! Jim finally acknowledges that the people officially running the EU were unelected and unaccountable. A slip of the finger no doubt.
The "meant to" is clearly quite significant. No slip of the finger at all, just a stick with at least two ends :P
"No, ambitious for his country."

The USA. :-)
jim360 -"Realistically the bigger problem is Cummings, who is accountable to nobody and is surely precisely the sort of unelected, unaccountable (to the people) official running things that Brexit was meant to be getting rid of."

Wow, the one that seemingly abhors the selective, out of context, cherry picking that the religious 'interpreters' utilise using the same tool to point score.
For the avoidance of doubt, whom are you criticising? :)
Really jim ? Interesting.

I was referring to the one who butchered your full text to score her points.
I did think so but wanted to make sure before I enjoyed myself too much.
No harm in CHECKING jim; I come here to ASK '*and*' ANSWER questions.... No harm in doing ALL three of those, although that is problematic for many posters here.

Remember the danger in schadenfreude and the 'twisted'. (;o( )
