Like you and the rest of the self-appointed intelligentsia, I thought Jeremy was a cert - what a wonderful world that would have been - businesses destroyed, dole queues, strikes - but we can't have it all our own way, you know. Sadly common sense triumphs and democracy rules. ;o)

// I'm afraid, in this instance, JD, Jim could be right.//
Support from an unexpected source, but I'll take it.
All the same, I'd rather JH was right than I was. It doesn't serve our country any favours to elect a Dictator, no matter how benevolent. Let's hope that it's merely an attempt to assert authority early to make a point, and he'll then "settle down" and get on with proving me wrong in other ways to.
Realistically the bigger problem is Cummings, who is accountable to nobody and is surely precisely the sort of unelected, unaccountable (to the people) official running things that Brexit was meant to be getting rid of.

Wow, the one that seemingly abhors the selective, out of context, cherry picking that the religious 'interpreters' utilise using the same tool to point score.
