Come on mamyalynne. You cant be serious?
" there behaviour in their private lives has nothing to do with their day-job"

Yes it does. I don't want to be entertained by a nonce or a pedophile.
//Yes it does. I don't want to be entertained by a nonce or a pedophile.//

Then you should probably avoid Roman Polanski movies.

Isn't that a bit of stretch from getting divorced though? Or even having an affair?
Boris is neither
It was an example of the principle.
I would think that the initial stages of a relationship/marriage to Boris would be fun and exciting. But I can't imagine anyone managing to stay sane and live with him long-term.

"Isn't that a bit of stretch from getting divorced though? Or even having an affair?"

Yes, but you're completely missing the point.

I'm not saying Boris is a paedophile. What I am saying is maybe how he treats his loved and family can reflect how he treats those he works with and it can indicate how he feels about those he's not related to and who he doesn't love. As in, the majority of the public.
What's your point Piggy? Man gets divorced isn't a story.

piggys point is - - even pigs have rights - wasnt Boris at an early time recorded as er having kissed a dead pig ('s head)

hey I wonder if he is called - Boris the Borer !
Boris the boar?
" Boris the Borer "

Ah very good! haha.
//Then you should probably avoid Roman Polanski movies.//
A good case in point, he is one of the greatest film directors in the world. Has just made what I hear as a superb film, 'J'Accuse' about the Dreyfus affair, which only the art-loving French are prepared to screen.
Polanski admits to once having sex with an underage girl (who has never wanted him prosecuted) and his has a charge of rape against him which he denies, & has never been tried for & he is ostracised, who are the real weirdos?
Roman Polanski movies?

Never seen one m8.
// 'm not saying Boris is a paedophile.//

oh come on - you are making a sows ear of this

surely - - - 'm not saying Boris is a piggophile.

Anyhow, someone in the film industry has no where near as much of an impact as the prime minister.
Comparing the two is futile.
Roman Polanski movies?

Tess is a yes - a good start

a lot of the scenes are filmed in the fields where the action took place - which is good if you are not a literateur
the literati know it is fiction so the actions never took place there even tho the locations are identificable, and get very sniffy about it

so Tess breakfast when she walking to Emminster ( Beaminster that is!) at Eversholt - is on Evershot high street
and Rev Clare is in the house next the church which was then the vicarage.

yeah and in Dickens - Joe the Fat Boy becomes prime minisnter
// Polanski admits to once having sex with an underage girl (who has never wanted him prosecuted)//

erm sorry under the age of 13 - consent is irrelevant

Which part of my reply are you doubting Piggy?
As one well known female associate of Boris said "Anyone to whom Boris is making a promise to, needs to get it down in writing ". Get yourself a good Lawyer to look at it , and make sure the money is in the bank.
