Poor Lottie, and poor little Chloë must be devastated. Why would anybody stoop so low as to do such a thing? Dregs of humanity.

What a scumbag!
how awful for her, i hope she gets another therapy dog to help..
The dog vanished when thieves broke into the outhouse? A therapy dog being kept in an outhouse? The report doesn't say the dog was stolen; it said it vanished. The report doesn't say how the dog died. The police have not disclosed that, assuming that they know.
Poor Lottie. A shame and so sad, but don't jump to conclusions people because of your emotional outlook with doggies.
Also doesn’t say that the dog was kept in the out house Clarion, now who’s jumping to conclusions?
It said the dog vanished when thieves broke into the outhouse, not the house. Where was the dog then? If it was in the normal house, it would have been ok wouldn't it?

The mere mention of anything to do with dogs on this website is a real gear-grinder for most in here, AB, the old folks home of tinternet.
Most normal people care about dogs, you have previously made your opinion of dogs widely known.
It’s beyond me why you bother to comment on dog posts other than perhaps wind people up.

10CS, the actual headline of the article is "Therapy dog stolen from girl with autism found dead."

Which bit of that confuses you?

Honestly? I'm a cat man, but the point of highlighting this story is to point out how despicable some people can be as to take a therapy animal from a little autistic girl.
"a real gear-grinder for most in here, AB, the old folks home of tinternet."
hey, but don't forget to tell us how much 'you love it'
Whether it is a theif that accidently releases a dog who dies, or someone who kills one in purpose, they deserve to be locked up for 10 years plus.

If you accidently kill a human then you still go to jail and dogs are more vulnerable.
The fact people on here are missing is that there has been a break in to someones home. The result of which is that the family will receive a crime number and that's the last they'll hear about and have to try and get their lives back on track.
It doesn't say out house it says family home.
I read the article from the link 30 minutes ago, and it did say 'outhouse'. It must have been changed.
guessing the person who uploaded it had got predicitve text enabled
This is from the page as of 1:21:11 this morning,
"Lottie - who required specialist food for a liver condition - vanished on 1 December when thieves broke into an outhouse at the family home."
What would happen to the monster/monsters who did this though if caught? Not a lot I guess. Poor dog. "the old folks home of t'internet". What a nasty, nasty comment. I'm in my 40's and angry and concerned about this, so your nasty comment falls short, doesn't it?
Worry not, 10 Clarion Street's just doing the King Cnut impression.
This is all a sad reflection of modern day Britain isn'it.Peoples homes are being broken into every day and what for? The Police may catch them, the perpetrators go to court to be admonished by magistrates who probably won't send them to jail but fine them and before long they are back at it again. We now read that as a potential result of Coronavirus affecting Prison staff "non dangerous"prisoners may be released early if staff aren't able to supervise them due to numbers off sick.
I have an outhouse and my dog used to be able to get in to it.
