No thanks. Just hearing his creepy voice is enough to bring on the blues.
He's actually talked quite a lot of sense, so far...……………...
Cannot stand the man, just trying to score points all the time, disgraceful with all this going on.

Why was he speaking from his office in parliament - can he not work from home? Glad it's the last we'll hear from him, and he can go back to being what he always was : a professional protester/agitator.
//Why was he speaking from his office in parliament - can he not work from home?//

He should be working from home. He's 70. Rather irresponsible.
Who cares what the obnoxious old Commie has to say.

He is todays chip papers.

I think if you looked up the word 'irresponsible' in the dictionary, there would be a little picture of Corbyn next to it!!
Andy: for a Moderator, Corbyn always seems to bring out the immoderate in you. Aren’t you, like a judge, supposed to be above factional sniping?

And yet when the loony right on here raises her flag, you’re always on hand to cheer.

Do explain, old lad.

Delighted -

Moderators are first and foremost AB'ers, and as such, we are as entitled to post any question, answer, view or opinion as anyone else, subject to Site Rules by which we are bound in the same way as anyone else.

We are Moderators, we are not judges, or angels, and we are not 'above' anything, or required to adhere to someone's imagined standards of behaviour.

As I say, subject to Site Rules - I, and any other Mod can post our personal views and opinions to be debated, argued with, or dismissed, as anyone else sees fit.

Hope this helps.

how rude !
we are much better behaved on "science" !

I would say
Andy: for a Moderator, I hope you will listen intently to the interview, with a warming tumbler of Glenfiddich to hand !

much bette image - cheers andie !
I thoroughly disapprove of attacks on mods

In Spangenburg where my dear late Papa was incarcerated during the war ( 139-45) that one - a notice went up from the SBO (*) - 'please do not lob snow-balls at the German Commandant as he cannot throw them back. It is unfair'

and so Andie
just raise your glass and say 'cheers'
PP - // I would say

I am teetotal, and for the umpteenth time, I don't spell my name that way.
Touchy, Andie / Andy.

I don’t care what I’m called, or how my handle gets spelt.

Alen Alien Allen etc

Not sure whether I like immoderators, but it’s good to know where everyone stands.
allen - // Touchy, Andie / Andy. //

Not at all. PP wastes time using an extra character to spell my name wrong. I remind him when I feel like it, and he continues to ignore me, but it's not a major issue for me I assure you.

// Not sure whether I like immoderators, but it’s good to know where everyone stands. //

There is not such thing as an 'immoderator' on here, there are Moderators who carry out a thankless task and absorb endless flack for doing it.

When you have been here as long as I have, you'll realise that such things don't affect the grand scheme of things in the slightest ...
So did anyone actually hear this apart from Ken?
They don't spell 'flak' that way in the sense used. :-P

Peter, please standby to explain the 'forrin' stuff. :-)
What the he'll does it matter what Andy's political leaning is? If it doesn't effect his ability to moderate, then it's irrelevant. Frankly Allen/Alan/Allan/Ally/Al dente, it seems like you have an axe to grind.

A fair point - I try really hard to keep all my personal views out of any moderation decisions - I can assure you that the Editorial Team see all such decisions, and the Mod who made them, and if they feel that anyone is acting on a 'personal' basis, then I think it safe to presume that their Moderator status is removed.

As I said, decisions are made on the basis of Site Rules, not personal views, or cliques, or vendettas, or anything else - just the rules.
1. Corbin is yesterday’s man but clinging on until the next one takes over and so he will pontificate till he is dragged kicking and screaming out the door.

2. Personally I have no idea who the moderators on this site are but imagine they have every right to do the same as us. Chat, talk rubbish or sense and debate on any subject or post that interested them.
