As of today Portugal has extended lockdown and until Monday only essential workers can travel out of their council district. As we have ID cards police can easily check addresses. Unfortunately some from the north have travelled down at night on back roads but some neighbours are reporting them. Supermarkets and chemists are open and home deliveries doing great business. It’s raining here and all beaches and water playgrounds closed. Supposedly the fines are going to be hefty

Yesterday in Heaton Park, Manchester, I saw people cycling on the golf course; having a game of cricket on the golf course; walking dogs on the golf course; jogging on the golf course; children using the bunkers as a sand pit; numerous anglers heading towards the ponds; a family having a picnic on the 14th green. However, if anyone dares to go on with a set of golf clubs, they'll be reported. Bear in mind that the ground staff are working on the course through all of that. And the Easter holiday hasn't started yet. Or has it? What lock down?
