Have Harry and Meghan shot themselves in the foot here? Does ‘no more co-operation with the tabloids’ give the papers carte blanche to do their worst without the likelihood of repudiation?

tomus - It's not what they are trying to do. Harry was in the news recently moaning about the British government! Like I said, they should keep their mouths shut, especially since they deserted Britain! And ladybirder is right, they did use the taxpayers money to upgrade Frogmore whether they lived there for a while or not and yes, they should pay it back, so what's stopping them??

The Mail wasted no time instigating its 'new' approach - a full blast on texts between Harry and his father-in-law.

I can't raise the energy to care, but their main readership will lap it up and be hungry for more, and there will certainly be more - lots and lots more ...

Andy, were those texts not 'made public' when they appeared in court documents. I think quite a few papers have carried the story - broadsheets as well as tabloid. So it's not as if the Mail have fired the first salvo in retaliation to the couple's recent decision.

I have no idea, honestly the doings of the royals mean less than nothing to me, but their naivety is sad to see.
