No.
1. I’m not going anywhere where I shouldn’t be.
2. I don’t believe it will just be used to collect CV19 data.
3. I don’t buy the ‘oh don’t worry, we’re only using the info from the first part of your postcode’ crap.
4. People will be out and about with CV19 and not know it, making any data very skewed (as we’re seeing with the evidence that it was in Paris last Dec).

ael, everyone I know has a smart phone, I’m no spring chicken and neither are they, so I reckon a lot of people have them. It would be interesting to know the percentage though.

They'd do better to concentrate on 100.000 plus tests a day and getting PPE, but I suppose this is a good diversion from the real issues. walking round with an antenna on your head ???

It's all connected- test track trace. If you test them and they are positive you can alert all those who've been in contact with.

South Korea seems to claim the biggest success.

It's definitely worth the try but I have some doubts it'll be deal breaker. I can also see some people 'aving a larf' by claiming they have covid just to alarm others who'll be worried when they get a message

I’m not really sure how this will compromise my privacy any more than it is already compromised. Can’t people’s whereabouts be traced now through their phones?

Don't think a test has to be done
" The only thing that users can do is report if they have Covid-19 symptoms. Within the app there is one central question: "how are you feeling today?" If you feel unwell you tap on the prompt and are asked whether you have a high temperature and a persistent cough. (Both are defined within the app). You are also asked to select which date the symptoms started.
Having both of these symptoms indicates a person may have coronavirus and this information can then be sent to the NHS. Users will then see a link that tells them to follow health advice – such as self-isolating – and potential details for testing. When a user submits they have symptoms, the health service’s technology will determine whether the people they have been nearby need to be notified. This is done with a risk algorithm and not everyone will instantly be notified."

Yep, I'm in. I think ZM has turned into AOG! It only exchanges the blue tooth code. Yes no doubt MI6 could use that to track Agent Zacs but I think it's a price worth paying. Should be compulsory in my opinion if we are ever going to get back to a normal ish existence.
