... would like to find some excuse for this second breach of lockdown - after he was well and back at work - and when (presumably) the 'childcare' emergency was no longer valid reason?

09.49 S/R Cummings isn't a Tory fool . But he is Fooling the Tories.
Gulliver, I only quoted what was attributed to Cummings,Whether I believe him, or not, is another matter. You calling anybody gullible is, frankly, hilarious.
I may be repeating myself, get rid of Cummings, Boris will be left floundering.
//Stop making stupid statements about things you know nothing about.//

That aimed at me?

I'll continue to make statements to the best of my knowledge. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. Unlike Mr Cummings.

It's not difficult to correct someone without being abusive.
10.17 Sorry Danny did not mean to hurt your feelings , but that is how you appear on A/B, " Gullible".
As I said Gulliver, coming from you that is hilarious. You couldn't hurt my feelings as I ignore most of your comments.
To earlier replies on this thread - of course DC is a Tory just as TTT is. It's not just MPs who are referred to as Tories. Boris wouldn't appoint a left-wing advisor.

Can you show any quote that contradicts my post at 09.53?

Where's your proof?
Do you really believe that anyone who isn't a Tory is left wing?
Do you really believe that you're intelligent?

Acting as chief advisor to a PM who leads the Tory Party when you fundamentally disagree with the entire ethos of his ideas and plans, which must obviously be based on the political stance of his party, would be utterly untenable.

Who could possibly work like that? Who would want to?

The notion that Mr Cummings does not wholly endorse the policies he assists in forming and implanting is frankly bizarre.
Blah, blah, blah. He's not a Tory, never has been. Next.
Spicerack - // Blah, blah, blah. He's not a Tory, never has been. Next. //

OK, he's not a Tory, never has been.

Feel better now?
It's not a very good apology but I suppose I'll have to settle for it.

I know you are simply making mischief, so I'll just leave you to it.

Enjoy yourself …

It is for some people.
For heaven's sake - would anyone work for an ultra right-wing Tory i.e. Boris if he didn't share his right-wing views. Answer "No". Ergo DC is a rabid Tory supporter.

That may be a little too far the other way I think.

I have no doubt that Mr Cummings is a Tory supporter - it would be virtually impossible for him to do his job otherwise, but I don't think it's necessary to be a 'rabid Tory supporter' to work for them.
//would anyone work for an ultra right-wing Tory i.e. Boris if he didn't share his right-wing views. Answer "No".//

Answer ‘Yes’. As an example, regardless of individual political allegiance, the whole of the Civil Service works for whatever flavour government happens to be in office.

That's seriously poor reasoning.

The Civil Service continues to work regardless of who is in power - it makes absolutely no difference to them whatsoever.

Do you seriously think you can compare people who carry out administration duties for any and all governments with the one individual who is closer to the Prime Minister than anyone outside his immediate family - and, as evidence clearly shows, he is prepared to sit through an entire avalanche of hostility in order to protect him?

You must see that as a comparison, that does not get off the ground, never mind actually fly!
Thank you AH - my point entirely.
