Just one important point. PEACEFUL protesters were attacked by enforcement officers to allow the president to have a photo opportunity in front of a church. A made for tv moment.

Texas has a red-neck for the chief of police ( no boys in the land of the free there are literally thousands) to say
"Mr President if you have nothing constructive to say = then keep quiet" is a bit out front
BUT he is elective ( the chief of police that is!) and may be seeking re election in a large minority area ( 30% speak spanish as a first language)(*)

and I dont think much about their covid coverage - their coverage of Ro numbers can be summed up as 'bad'

I am still more interested in how viewers think this will play out in an election
