BLM have targeted 60 Statues and Plaques. Their choices are bizzare. Will we now have black stabbing victims picking and choosing what hospitals save their lives. They apparently now don't appreciate Guy's hospital. I am sure Guys didn't turn them away when they were bleeding to death.
Arms manufacture and Engineer Armstrong. Obviously BLM would have sooner lived under a Nazi regime. Armstrong Company manufactured the Armstrong Whiteley Bomber in the 2nd W.W.

Horatio Nelson, Drake et al. It has to stop. Full list in Link

Gherkin: 'However, those who are retaliating to the aggressive police presence,' I don't know what you were watching but I saw a bunch of coppers being commendably restrained in the face of extreme provocation. Copers who weren't allowed to wear beat helmets which might have offered some protection. Coppers who weren't allowed to wear crash helmets and...

"If you didn't realise that I suggest you look it up unless you are too lazy to do so."

I didn't realise my insult was on a lazy Susan. You can't just spin it back round to me. I have provided a number of links to demonstrations that turned violent and resulted in success for society. You jsut have to take the time to read them.
Black Friday was a suffragette demonstration in London on 18 November 1910. The march became violent when metropolitan police sexually harassed the ladies. Many women had their breasts manhandled by police and men who were just watching.

Those arguing against the riots would have been those copping a feel in 1910.
// What are they going to have a vote on... If black lives matter? //

if black lives matter really believe in their cause (although their "cause" hasn't actually been defined beyond vague and unspecified calls for "justice", and despite existing for seven years no tangible demands have ever been set out), they could always constitute themselves as a political party, field candidates and change the system from the inside. that's how democracy works.
An excellent answer Mushroom
Mushroom25, their only ambition is to abolish violence and systemic racism towards black people.

These riots happen when situations such as what happened to George takes place. It proves the voice is still loud, an powerful.

Look at everyone getting worked up about it. The cause has so much emotion. It's powerful. Very powerful.
According to Naomi24, it's so powerful that it can cause national spread of anarchy, which Anonymous has been trying to achieve since the internet was invented.
That is what you after isn't it?
Anarchy.
You are just jumping on the back of BLM as an opportunity to further a much darker cause.
Are you Antifa as well?
Gerkins, //According to Naomi24, it's so powerful that it can cause national spread of anarchy//

I didn’t say that.

Attacking the messenger is the last resort of a failing argument. Your post at 11:35 is a cop out.
"Mushroom25, their only ambition is to abolish violence and systemic racism towards black people. " - by violence? right oh! Mushroom has suggested the best route to that end. Form a party get elected then they can legally do what they like, that's known as "democracy", it's a Greek thing, look it up. That's how workers lifted themselves up, by forming the Labour party and getting into government, see?
If people will acknowledge a movement by it’s most violent protesters then they should acknowledge the police force by their most violent officers.
Naomi24, did you or did you not say that what is going on is anarchy? Not all 60 statues are in London, you know.

That wasn’t an attack. It was acknowledging what you’re saying. Or did I get it wrong?
Gerkins, //If people will acknowledge a movement by it’s most violent protesters then they should acknowledge the police force by their most violent officers. //

There's wonky logic if ever I heard it! So much for all the initiatives that you applaud for having succeeded through what you claim was necessary violence.
Gerkins, yes, you did get it wrong. I didn't say //it's so powerful that it can cause national spread of anarchy// - or anything resembling that.
Well the harsh fact is you wouldn’t have any rights if suffragettes didn’t march for you and cause some violence. You could be sexually assaulted in the street before that time (and during) and no one would give a damn about you, because you are a woman.

Imagine if the woman was swapped for the word black? That’s the world we’re living in today.
//Are you Antifa as well?//

Possibly Shoota. Gherkin was in a pickle a little while back after being charged with vandalism section 52. Violent destruction of property no less. Now he/she has sanctimoniously acquired a licence to lecture those of us who do not act violently when we cannot get our own way. Perhaps the time to do so is approaching. At least we could bang a few heads together.
Naomi, was the “wide spread” bit the wrong part?

Seems to me it’s across all states in America, and the UK, and other countries. If this anarchy isn’t wide spread, what is it?
Utter nonsense.
Utter nonsense was in response to Gherkin at 12.02
Gerkins, you were wrong.

//Imagine if the woman was swapped for the word black? That’s the world we’re living in today. ///

What utter nonsense.
Why is ending racism even a debate?

Why do you care what property is harmed in the pursuit for global equality?

Black people live in fear for their lives every day. White British folk care more about statues they didn’t even realise existed than they do actual lives.
