If it were deliberate, why are the other PMs affected? It sounds more like a glitch to me.

It's only the picture of Churchill that's missing, the other three are still being shown.
TCL, what other omissions? The only one in your quote refers to first terms are not shown for the four Prime Ministers which they are investigating. It doesn't explain why the photograph of Churchill is the only one missing. I believe in coincidence but not to this extent.
So the claim is that Google deliberately removed the image, hoping nobody would notice, and then when people did notice Google made up some lame excuse rather than stand by their reasons for removing it. Is that it?
