If BLM activists are so proud of their heritage why do so many of them want to look white? ‘Celebs’ like Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell, Meghan Markle, all straighten their hair. Numerous celebs (eg Beyoncé again) dye their hair blonder, as do many activists seen on TV as well as black reporters. And so many wear straight-hair wigs... And why do some e.g. La Toyah and Janet Jackson, lighten their skin and have plastic surgery on their noses to make them smaller? Michael Jackson ... well we won’t even go there. Just wondered.

Well Theland, it looks completely racist out of context, and was an utterly ridiculous thing to tweet.

Her explanation that lives don't matter simple because they're white (which is similar to saying "all lives matter" in a round about way) gives her tweet some context, but it was an utterly deplorable way of saying it, for someone supposedly highly intelligent.

It looks like a lot of the replies she got on Twitter were just as bad as her tweet, if not worse.

I am unsure which area of the country you live in, but if you got your local news coverage from the BBC Birmingham studios, as I do, you would see a number of black presenters of both sexes who tick your box requirements for actually being black - and they have a number of Asian presenters as well.

No, the majority of people are not like you, seeing 'colour' at every twist and turn, except, ironically, in your own family, if we are to believe you.

When I turn on the news, I am interested in what the newsreader is telling me, I honestly don;t think about the colour of their skin, and if i did, it wouldn't put me off because they are 'not of my tribe'.

Do you ever run these views past the non-whites in your family? Oh no, you have no room for race and politics do you?

Just as well for them - they are spared your abhorrent views, maybe you do to them what you do to us, bore us with religion every day.

We do not thrust a anarchic organisation with the most inane slogan down people's throats by stating White Lives Matter every time a white thug kills someone and more to the point, how come there is no looting, arson, rioting and protests when a Black thug kills two of their own. No black protests when they slaughter their own . That is the stupidity of the BLM organisation. It appears, just like the N word, it is OK for a rap singer and followers to use that word but so wrong for anyone else.
Double standards comes to mind and they are pleading for equality.

The response to the link is that young people change the way they look, whether black, white or any skin tone in between. Nothing to do with race, just to do with fashion.
