That's a typical response on this website, Atheist. If, but, maybe, perhaps. I've worked and socialised with many people from those communities. Been to Asian and West Indian weddings. Am godfather to a child of a West Indian couple. I could cite other examples. I am not biased against anyone. All lives matter.

Yes,10CS.Do you know how difficult it is to write Myfanwy backwards.Especially after a litre of Southern Comfort.Anyway my user name has a raunchy edge to it,wouldnt you agree?
blm want march in the areas when blacks kill blacks, they never protest when that happens
I don't believ you were attempting to write Myfanwy!
mifanwy; I had wondered if that was your name. I apologise for using a backward guess. I thought you might be Welsh (like my dad) But then I thought I saw that you were from Scotland. I apologise for all my rudenesses. I hope you might be less pugnacious towards me. Best wishes.
Question Author
Nah,im Scottish.Born to ultra-polite parents who would never think the word"fanny"was anything more than a slang name for Frances.Pronounced Miffeny if anyone is interested.
M; my dad was Welsh and my grandad Scottish (the rest was Cornish). We've got off on the wrong foot. But that doesn't matter, really, because we aren't embarking on any kind of relationship. I do like to know a bit about the people I discuss/argue with. After all, we're all human beings. Was I wrong in thinking that Mifanwy was Welsh?
Question Author
No,old boy,as far as i am aware the name Myfanwy is as Welsh as a leek.By the way i wasnt the only Myfanwy in my class at school.During the sixties or seventies us Scots used a different terminology for the female pudendum.Nowadays girls called Myfanwy would get ripped to shreds.
M; thanks old girl. Maybe we needn't be enemies for over. At least I showed you my ugly mug (and it is a self-portrait!). Anyway, we can't hog the thread like this. I hope to be in rural France in a couple of weeks, and you'll still be stuck in NE Scotland. I'll think about you there and miss the tangle o' the Isles. Best wishes, and don't hold back your vigorous thrusts if we cross swords again. :)
Question Author
Best wishes to you too,old boy.and best wishes on your Gallic adventures.Just wish you would get rid of that avatar.Reminds me too much of the old anti-semite.Which the less said the better.Come on Starmer...and im a Tory.Dont like Johnson and cant be done with that serpent Cummings...
Thanks, M. Avatars aren't really important; I know they can make people look attractive (God knows, that's what attracted me to you in the first place!) but it's the person behind the mask that counts (as I often say to my wife, although she doesn't agree that my young concubine feels the same way.) (By the way, I think you accused me of being Albert Steptoe, not Jeremy Corbyn.)
Anyway, M, this flirtation must cease! What would people think?!?
I think this has turned into Tinder ;-)
Mozz; what's tinder?
Anyway, Mozz, if some ABers realise that other ABers may be decent humans like themselves (albeit with different views) then it's good for them to 'come out' and embrace the otherness.

So you dont fancy coming down to the World Naked Bike Ride in Brighton next year,Atheist.I was hoping to turn you into a (leftish,remainer)Tory.....
Question Author
I can sit on the crossbar......but if your bike doesnt have a crossbar....oooh,er,missus...
It appears that they are always after volunteers at the refreshment stations.
All you have to do is apply Vaseline on the saddle sores!
M; Thanks for the invitation(if that is what it was), but I don't get out much. I'm married and am working on my second novel (bloody long-winded Anthony Burgess book called Earthly Powers!! :)) So I'm not really available for naked bike rides in Brighton with rude Scots girls with Welsh names. It hurts to turn you down - I could do with a bit of excitement; but chapters 21 to 31 are waiting to be written. BTW, Leftish and remainer are right; but Tory doesn't fit - I'm a Wiganer, poor kid, mining town; can't help my roots.
Question Author
