Hello Gulliver, righto, we know this so what point are you making ?

The sacking of Julian Lewis, proves the UK is under Absolute Rule by Johnson and Cummings. They both wanted Chris Grayling in the job as another puppet for Cummings and Boris to pull the strings.

Yeh, link please, you are supposed to attach a link in News :0)
what are you talking about? It is common practice to provide a link to the story you want to discuss, see Site Rules.
I don't believe this for one minute without proof. Winning an election against a favoured candidate is no reason to expel someone from the party.
Reason for sacking here:-
// Mr Lewis "has been told by the chief whip that it is because he worked with Labour and other opposition MPs for his own advantage".//
I know this bloke and have met him several times. He is an arrogant idiot.
He is the only MP who refuses to receive electronic communication from his constituents. If you want to contact him, apart from local clinics you have to write a letter and post it.

Note how the last link says that "two peers" are members of the ISC. These two peers were subsequently replaced with two more Tory MPs. Throughout March--July, it was clear that Grayling was being set up to lead the Committee, and it was equally clear that Johnson wanted this.
Whenever I have watched him in the HOC (on television) he always came across as being a supercilious individual.
arrogant and supercilious he may be - presumably his party didn't mind while he did as he was told - but to be sacked from the party because opposition members voted for him to head a committee is extreme vengeance. Better just about anyone than failing Grayling, I would have thought.
It is extremely bad form for someone who is not a medical doctor to use the title outside of academic circles.
Is Gulliver having a siesta?
I can't help but feel that that's the less important part of the story, coming a distant second to "Johnson tried to fix the leadership of a committee whose purpose is to scrutinise him despite this being contrary to both good practice and the law".
its interesting JNO....he is well loved by many of his constituents. I don't think he achieves much for them but he fails so nicely. When the Cons were out of power, he was shadow defence but the moment they got back into power he was replaced. I have often wondered what his hold is.
Jackdaw he is a GP.
Jim //whose purpose is to scrutinise him//
That is not the purpose of the committee
