But when will our media catch up with this story?

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jul/22/isaiah-jackson-arrested-after-photo-kneeling-white/

Here's the bit that will get you het up...switch black man for white man and white baby for black baby.
I'm sure you would agree that it would be plastered all over our media?

//Ken4155 Ellipsis for 'Most sensible answer', at the very least. Quite obviously staged and child has probably been told to pretend to cry.// Good grief! What is wrong with you? The 'child' is a baby!! That picture made me feel sick.

Ellipsis, you invent...the George Floyd death wasn't mentioned by me.

You say the photo was staged...well from the child's perspective it was real. Horrifically real.

> the George Floyd death wasn't mentioned by me.

Except throughout the article you linked your question to!

> You say the photo was staged

It was staged. Unlike the George Floyd killing - that was real. Do you see the difference?

> ...well from the child's perspective it was real. Horrifically real.

Thay may be. I don't know, and I doubt you do, because the article you linked to is smattered with "reportedly", "according to reports" and "purportedly". We don't know who the child is, who the parents are, where the parents were when the photo was taken ... we don't know very much at all, really. Why you think this story should be plastered all over our media, I don't know.
Whether it's made up or real it's horrible. I hate that children will see it.
Great BA.
I don't care what colour he is, he needs to be removed from the streets immediately amd permanently. Nasty piece of work.

You maybe don't but those that bothered to find out, do.
Still, a 2 year child suffering a bit of abuse in the grand scheme of things...pah!
//We don't know who the child is, who the parents are, where the parents were when the photo was taken//

It doesn't matter who they are or where they were. Child abuse is wholly unacceptable on every level. Utterly shameful to even attempt to justify it. In fact .... moronic.
I think you have the answer in your question "random moron"
If the press were to report on all the brainless things "random morons" do you'd need a forklift to deliver your paper. Especially worldwide random morons
I don't think anyone is trying to justify child abuse though are they?
//I don't think anyone is trying to justify child abuse though are they?//

In excusing this in any way, shape or form then, yes, they are.
No they're not. More straw men against which to score imaginary points.

Very sorry for trying to answer your question, Roy. As your "Best Answer" shows, you weren't really interested in an answer to the question ... more of a "Besty Answer".
No-one is excusing it though are they? Are we reading the same thread?
The question is about when our media will start reporting this story, not "isn't it a bad thing" (which clearly it is)
No attempts at point scoring here, ellipsis. Children are more important to me than being seen to be riding aboard 'woke' bandwagons.
The expression on the child's face and having their hands held behind their back is quite distressing. Why would anyone in their right mind pull a vile stunt like this?
In what way are my answers to Roy's question riding on a woke bandwagon?
'woke' is becoming as tedious as 'virtue signallers'
//'woke' is becoming as tedious as 'virtue signallers'//

Tedious perhaps, but both appropriate.
Both very convenient sticks and stones for tossing at pathetic straw men.
Pathetic describes your response to this perfectly, ellipsis.
Once again, I'm very sorry for actually answering the question! Clearly that was not the response that was wanted ...
