At the risk of being cated off to the Tower for high treason (!), the article doesn't mention deaths.
It's good that the number of deaths has fallen dramatically, althogh I did also wonder if that had something to do with the new way of counting them.
I'd expect the number of deaths Europe-wide to remain low, as most of the recent cases seem to be affecting younger, people, with better treatment for acute cases, and the fact perhaps that for now the vast majority of those who were going to die of it may already have done so.

I’m not sure I’d call they - either here or anywhere else, a second wave exactly. More a continuation of the first.
As long as there’s a virus around and it’s not been eliminated then cases are bound to rise once restrictions are eased. We need to live with that really - I don’t mean do nothing, but accept that it isn’t going away
