When Labour left office in 2010 the National Debt was less than £1 Trillion, so the Tories have managed to double it. Will the electorate ever forgive the Conservatives again for trouncing the economy?
have a day off with your nonsense gromit, there is a teenzy weenzy little issue that has caused this over the last 8 months but you are trying to say it's happened independent of that. Talk about dishonest. If this is where we are under the Tories you can double it for your beloved labour buddies.
I suspect every other country also has increased debt as a result of Covid, yet you highlight only ours, nice. I suppose it impresses your anti British fans eh?
I did wonder which anti British lefty would pick up this story, I thought it would probably be gulliver or diddly so I am surprised at you. I always gave you credit for being brighter than that.
in 2017 many EUSSR countries had a larger debt by percent of GDP than us, I suspect that theirs too has grown by a similar magnitude so I'd say France is even worse that us at the moment, care to comment on that Gromit? Of course not!

They just keep on picking the money from the" Tory Magic Money Tree ".
Handing out Contracts to their Tory Associates. Then they have a Chancellor, who wants to hit the Pensioners, by abolishing the "Triple Lock System" . Which was in the Conservative manifesto pledge. You just can not trust the Johnson Govt.
One would have to have courage to "do a Sweden" and not throw so much cash at the issue. But discount meals do seem a bit extravagant, especially since it flies in the face of isolating the public. A bit of, the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. With this level of spending, anyone would think a socialist government was in power ;-)
Gulliver, to anyone who has kept up with the news these past months it’s a complete non-story. Anyone with an iota of intelligence is well aware that Governments can’t provide what this government has provided without money. It’s not rocket science.
