41,902 deaths so far. Most are infirm and aged, some probably well off. That’s a lot of death duties which Boris will be glad to receive. Sorry to be so frank but that’s how it looks to me!.

I'm not saying we are doing anything better that you in the UK, I'm just expressing my surprise at the disparity.

1. our legal beagle says covid doesnt exist or if it does, it doesnt matter. It hasnt been killing anyone and if it has, it still doesnt matter. --- - - - Ha!
2. Death duties came in around 1894 altho there were still taxes on death before. It went out 1970s. Ha ! Ha!
3. We have IHT - instead
4. In 2015-16 (the latest year for which information is available), 24,500 estates were liable to inheritance tax – around 4.2 per cent of total UK deaths. Ha HA ha
so in conclusion no it doesnt look like it - we tax analysts say the tax base is small ( no of people paying it)
altho his tax take from IHT has gone up by ten over the last ten years - one billion to ten billion - figures a guess
and so your argument would only work if Covid was killing only the rich
it isnt

Remember tho eve- are NHS must be saving alot of money on the hundereds of doctors and nurses who died from Corona this Spring. Plus all those carehome staff. And if are PM had died when he was on the ventilater that would have saved a bit too, it all adds up.
Good question by bravehaeart really. Makes you think whether we should even bother treating the infirm and aged or just leave them in a warehouse when they get Corona .

When will you pack it in, Peter? Just about the only lucid comments you make are your continual misrepresentations of my views on Covid. It's very boring.
