After watching bits of this yesterday I can't see how a nation of over 330 million people think either of these 2 should be the one to lead them. If the American people think these are the best they have then I genuinely feel sorry for them.

Simply, it was pathetic.

It was no advert for democracy in what is supposed to be a free nation and certainly a damning indictment on the current state of US politics - many doomsters are forecasting that the US system is cracking and that they are a step away from civil action. The likes of Abraham Lincoln and the rest of them must have been turning in their boxes in watching that slanging match - debate it wasn't. Period.
