Personally I dont care and I fail to see why such a fuss. It's not as if he deliberately set out to do it and the whole things rot anyway IMHO.
So for me no fine, just a word from plod to be more careful - as most would receive in similar circumstances.

This is especially puzzling when (one presumes) all those attending were politically of a like mind and had no real reason to "out" the former leader of the Opposition.
