No, they announced over the weekend that the public could not be trusted with a "traffic light" system because those in the "green" areas would believe it was OK to behave like normal human beings. So now it's going to be "medium", "High" and "very high". Reminds me of the story behind the collapse of the first bridge across the River Tay in 1879. What he didn't know was that the supplier had three grades of iron: "best", "best best" and "very best best". The bridge collapsed in a storm on December 28th 1879 whilst a train was passing over it, plunging the train into the river and some 75 lives were lost.

Although not a fan of the PM, I sympathise with the huge dilemma he faces a
People like weecalf saying shut the country down, and those such as New Judge (with whom I’d be more in sympathy with) saying the opposite. And what’s probably worse, the same conflict within the scientific advice.
I think we are in for a period of fudge and uncertainly.
Personally I’d rather have that than the shutdown option.
What appals me is that we’re all now very divided on that and the government had unwittingly done its level best to foster those divisions.
It’s almost like Brexit all over again
