I voted for him in the election along with millions of others in the North of England, seeing as someone who seemed to understand and be on the same wavelength as us Northern working class folk. However during this crisis it seems he has always playing catch up, never leading and in thrall to his scientific advisers who seems to be setting policy at the moment. Now all the backstabbing going on in no. 10 and his girlfriend now seems to be running the show by the backdoor. I have no confidence he won't make a pigs ear out of distributing the vaccine. I think the new year would be a good time to go along with matt Hancock. Rishi sunak should take over.

> Says alot for our politics that we shud make do with the best of bad choices.Sorry state of affairs.
> The country deserves far better than the mediocrity weve bn served up for yrs and yrs cross party

Now there's your BA ...
go then and join a party, and see if you can't get elected, and make a difference,
bet you wouldn't. Best leave it to those we do elect. If they make a bad fist of the job then one would hope they go at the earliest opportunity, but we put our X next to the relevant party,

Obviously, he should go. In fact, we ought to rewind the election and let Jeremy Corbyn run the country. Chilling eh? Johnson has had to deal with the greatest medical crisis for a century, which many national leaders, including the "leader of the free world", have handled even worse. I'm no Tory, but this year has been exceptional.
^The first breath of honest fresh air from a non-Tory. Well said, drmorgans.
We are not just talking abt 2020 tho.Our political system has been in turmoil, dare I say laughing stock, for years.Trust in politicians, loads of 'em,gone down the pan.Brexit was a disgrace from both main parties, expenses scandal etc etc

I wud love to make a diff but it wud take millions of swallows....
as they say in some circles, put up or shut up, if one wants to make a serious difference in life, get involved, politics is no different,
Emmie,I dont have superhuman powers.Dont be naive.

Millions have continuously bn lied to and treated as second class citizens and talked down to for far too long.British politics has never bn so woeful as it is now
if that's the case why did Boris and his team get into power, with a sizeable majority.
For a start a lot of northerners gave him the benefit of his pre election words. Not so happy now a lot of em are they?
"if that's the case why did Boris and his team get into power, with a sizeable majority."

A question that will be asked for decades to come.
This Northerner is ag
I know plenty of folk in the north east who are fuming over Hancock who visited one place desperate for a new hospital.Over 30 to get funding but got overlooked.Mostly given, yes,to the south
Glad u r happy Bobbi.Lots arent...
//A question that will be asked for decades to come. //

Well, if it is, those asking must have lived with their eyes and ears closed for the previous several years. Just a few words. Jeremy Corbyn and his motley crew. Ask no more.
May be not the best time for a PM to go, but it might be a case that at last the penny has dropped with Boris and realized that being an PM is a serious business, not just a career buzz. There's lots of people like Boris, no matter how many times you hit them over the head with a sledge hammer, it takes a long while for them to wake up, and also get rid of the dead wood.
I'm not as happy as I hoped I'd be ag - I'm a Northener.
"like Boris, no matter how many times you hit them over the head with a sledge hammer, it takes a long while for them to wake up"

The country will only take so much.Patience is gettin wafer thin
But you wouldn't 'jump ship ' would you ILM.?
what miracles are you waiting for? We are as been stated in unprecedented times, this virus could have killed him as it killed over 50,000 i don't know what people are complaining about. This virus has taken over everything.
