Right so the £300,000 10ft plinth of the Iron Lady will be situated on St Peter's Hill Green in Grantham, Lincolnshire, after being funded by the Public Memorials Appeal charity.
The 100k is the unveiling event which I suspect is high because of didy's mates who have threatened to vandalise it.
Personally I am not for statues whoever it is but if someone wants to pay then not a problem. I would like to see a breakdown of the 100k seeing as we often have councils (of all colours) waste money.
