This county needs a massive overhaul of its welfare system and legal aid. Human Rights' Lawyers are making a killing from stopping the deportation of serious criminals. All courtesy of legal aid. This country needs to get rid of all the dead wood.

I'm very, very fond of the lovely Peak District, some beautiful scenery there.
70 percent of the country is used for farming according to a recent report, there are vast swathes of the country designated Areas of Ourstanding Natural Beauty, so all is not lost.
i am fond of the south coast, Norfolk Suffolk, Hertfordshire where i have spent some time over the years.
Dales, Lake District, Peak District, Norfolk Broads, all quite beautiful.
Scottish Highlands, Wales too, many places to find some breathing space in.

nice, we have our lovely parks here in London, its not the same as being out of town but is next best thing.
Yes emmie, the Norfolk Broads, I forgot about them. Akin to Paradise for me the Norfolk Broads.

This is the farm up from us....and this is where I shouldn't have been walking Lola, oops
North Yorkshire Dales for me. Miles and miles of beautiful countryside which I would argue we have actually improved by the building of drystone walls. Not often we do that!
The Peak District and the Highlands of Scotland are next on my list. I just love hills, looking at them, not walking up them, not any more anyway:-(
I've only just seen this thread and frankly can't be bothered to trawl through more than 2 pages of comments. However, the bottom line is that Gavin Williamson's comment was crass in the extreme and an embarrassment to our nation. Th sensible folk of Europe will probably say "good riddance" when Brexs**t happens.
sadly i don;t get out of town as much as i used to, don't drive and find it difficult to navigate the trains with luggage. But when visiting family do get to see some spectacular countryside.
