TYK implies it is a tyrosine kinase ( plonks a phosphate on a tyrosine amino acid ) and there is one mutation..... ( associated with bad covid).

Have they identified any particular "groups" or defined, possibly visible, "characteristics" that make certain people more susceptible to severe symptoms or is that getting dangerously close to a possible eugenics programme?

My mind sometimes goes to places like that, Togo, although I try to keep it off the page lest folk think I'm odd.
So...human response to a disease process is genetic, which may have host/organism variables...NEVER!.......didn't know that.
That will give some medical depth and staff something together their teeth into with financial support from whoever is gullible.
