I don't know why people are concerned about Brexit. It's what the country wanted, isnt it? The majority voted for it, as we keep being reminded. We are where we are because of that. And before anyone says anything, I didn't vote in the referendum because we'll all get screwed anyway, in or out.
Possibly the biggest self-harm Britain has ever done to itself since the second world war.I just cant see any redeeming features in this so-called Brexit whatsoever."Not in my name".
Plus it's the biggest step towards returning to be our own nation that Britain has ever done for itself. Brexit isn't the problem, as everyone knows. The problem is an EU Commission that is determined to make things as difficult as they can in pursuit of retaining control; regardless what it causes to nations both inside and outside their empire. But ultimately the worst they can inflict are temporary trade difficulties, whilst showing their true nature to the world.
My perception when the result of the referendum was announced, was that we would be leaving the EU. Bye-bye. Just leaving. See you later. I think that was the perception of most people who voted to leave. I don't think any voters envisaged a four and a half year exit. Does that say anything about the voters? Who knows?!!! :o)
It probably means that some voters thought that reasonable adults were in charge of the move and would assist each other in achieving a good outcome for all. Perhaps a bit trusting, but turns out a little naive too.
Helloooo ... Brexit is done, it is not going, it is gone. We are thankfully leaving, the voters decided. We are an independent Sovereign State once more, after decades mired in the corrupt anti democratic project. You will need to get over it, or get over there.
France should tread carefully, they've never won a war against Britain (1066 notwithstanding). In fact the French have never won a war against ANYBODY without outside help.
