Nicola Sturgeon has pledged to rejoin the EU as soon as possible after claiming Scotland had been taken out of the bloc against its will because of Brexit & is writing letters to various European newspapers saying so.
Are you Scottish, if so does she speak for you? Would you like to be separated from the rest of the UK & be a part of the EU instead?

steg: I asked for a Scottish view in the OP & you gave it, which I respect, but I must say I find (2) incomprehensible. Perhaps you have worded it badly, but it appears as if you would accept anything she says simply because of her position

I don’t agree with everything she says tho
Oh heck MM is Ruth Davidson. Jolly good . :-)

on the EU's membership requirements page, it says:-

....just wondered whether scotland's being a one-party state would disqualify them?
I'm Scottish and Sturgeon does not speak for me. On anything.
//...just wondered whether scotland's being a one-party state would disqualify them?//

We will be even more of a one-party state after next Hollywood elections... doubley braw

It's really alarming that the SNP faithful think a one-party state is desirable, that it's OK to use the Civil Service and education system for propaganda and that they use intimidation against journalists and other media.

So, Steg, when Murraymints puts cogent arguments and I express serious concerns, all you can do is say that she has lost the plot or trumpet "braw" or "all hail".
This is the level of debate in Scotland. Pathetic.
