Nicola Sturgeon has stated that Donald Trump won't be allowed into Scotland to avoid Biden's inauguration.

It follows a report in the Sunday Post that Prestwick Airport had been warned to expect a US military Boeing 757 on 19th January.

Man, I'd just leave to see him being turned away on the tarmac, tail between his legs.

Oh I hope he does come, love to see her try to stop him !!
I can just visualise her standing as Air Force 1 thunders to a stop Instead of table tennis bats she'll have two little Saltires haha
I suppose he could always land in England then drive to Scotland.
Bobbi - that I would like to see.
She's power mad that woman !
I read somewhere a while ago that Donald said he would like to live in Scotland. Perhaps he's after Balmoral
He might even * buy* Scotland Roo, that'll save them having another referendum
They do say that his whole persona and character is identical to his mother's.
Air Force 1 is a 747, the suggestion is that the report was of a 757 coming, the difference being just within the realms of possibilities for a near enough ex-president being on board.
Air force 1 is whatever plane the president is flying in at the time. Similarly, Marine 1 is whichever helicopter he is using at that time.
"Coming to play golf is not what I would consider to be an essential purpose."

But as the owner that is easy to get round surely. On business.

All seems a bit fishy to me. Sturgeon has got too big for her boots.

I'd have though Trump could have got a British passport in the long term easily given he is half British so how would she stop that?

Scotland would be a very dangerous place for Trump to visit. They shoot grouse on the moors and nobody grouses more than Trump.

Leave the UK? But that might put us in the delicious position where he's entitled to Scots citizenship, and not British ...
I haven't played them, but I have it on good authority that his Scottish golf courses are fabulous. His personal losses on them are over £4 million p.a. but they provide employment & income for Scotland & bring in visitors from around the world, more than can be said for Nicola Sturgeon.
Actually I spoke out of turn above.
I don’t think people coming to play golf would be permissible in the circumstances unless Trump can claim to be engaging in an elite competition.
And I think she was asked about it.
> But as the owner that is easy to get round surely. On business.

Yep, I think you're right about that.
If he came before the inauguration he’d lose the presidency during his stay.
I can’t see him decamping abroad while he’s still in office.
Then again even I didn’t see him rallying fascist gunmen to “defend the White House”
Not in so many words but effectively
Two nationalists together!!!...Bound to be a bit of a love-fest between the two of them. Both seem to me to be love starved.A Trump-Sturgeon union?Who knows.Making babies.
what a truly horrible thought
^Who for?Trump or Sturgeon?
