The UK Government has already ordered 60 million doses of the french Valneva vaccine which will be made in Livingstone, Scotland.

That is excellent news, not sure why anyone would be against it. The more vaccine made in the UK, the better for everyone. Anyone attacking this investment should be ashamed.

great sunk, she'll probably hang on and yes you can take the peace in 4 months but it at least holds up the possibility of doubt in the minds of the voters. She is the largest party at the mo, in power because the rest are split. I'm also not convinced of the support for "independence", I think you'll probably be right but I wouldn't put all my eggs on it if I was you. I too will book mark this page, I guess one of us will be bringing it up.

sunk, 129 seats, she has 61, I agree forget cons but they may turn to Labour and the Lib non dems and possibly those two could coalesce. I agree outside chance but I don't think her support is as solid as it appears. I certainly would not be taking it for granted.

I am no expert on Scottish politics, but Labour are still in the doldrums and the LibDems (5 MSPs) are gone.

Obviously Westminster, Brexit and Covid will dominate any Scottish Election.
No sure the Tories have a winning hand on any of that.

Maybe if Sturgeon had not been so ignorant and rude to Trump the Novavax production would have gone there. Instead the U.S. chose the Stockton on Tees site. Rather than 60 million doses being a possibility for a vaccine that may get the go ahead they may have had a guaranteed 120 million orders for a vaccine that is viable. Maybe Boris will see to it that the Valvena vaccine doesn't get UK approval, an serve em right. Stranger things have happened.
