They are, it seems the most at risk yet they also seem to be most against accepting help. Surely they don't believe all the tin hat cobras do they? What gives?

That Dave50, is exactly what they will demand happens. The rest of the Country stays locked down, furloughed, or wfh to ensure that the great unvaccinated or immune are not "putting them in danger". 13.29 Paigntonian You have no proof of what you have just said. At the moment no one knows whether you can still carry/ pass the virus on, even if you've been vaccinated. Not even the manufactures.
//At the moment no one knows whether you can still carry/ pass the virus on, even if you've been vaccinated.//
preliminary results were published last week showing a significant reduction in passing it on, altho am pretty sure they research still has to complete the 'peer review' process

You will probly dismiss it as lies tho as Hancocks name is in the heading
I can see I'm flogging a dead horse here. last time I'm afraid, I take (notice) of what the manufactures say/ data, not what government are (telling) / advising me, in saying that I do listen to what comes from government. OK got it now. :0)
Will you accept what scientists say
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-55910964
This wasn't goverment speaking.
Again Bobbinwhales 13.39, your only reading what you want to read, it states ( might) reduce the spread, could , might, may be, should,?
13.42 ( could) yet again?
It's not really clear, teacake as you previously wrote 'As stated before I'm keeping an eye on the data, not data coming from government.'

But you now seem to have changed that to 'I do listen to what comes from government'

You can see why some of us have an issue with anything you write given such inconsistencies.
Listen, and doing, after listening are very different, but I think you already know that. Must now go for my exercise, and feed my little friends their nuts.
Teacake your reading only what you want to read. The could relates to the word Substantially. But anyway even if you can still spread it it gives alot of protection or do you not yet think theres info on that
'Listen, and doing, after listening are very different'

Eh?
until last week, the scientists were saying that having the vaccine will prevent you from becoming sick if you are exposed to the virus, but it wouldn't stop you becoming infected, being infectious or spreading the disease. preliminary results released last week suggest there is an effect on how infectious you end up being, but these need to be peer reviewed.
Enjoy your walk. Dont forget your nuts teacake.
all i know is i had the vaccine, didn't feel well, but that seems have stopped, i hope that it gives me a measure of protection alongside the second vaccination in april/may. until that time i will continue wearing a mask, and doing the things we have come accustomed to

As long as they don't expect the rest of us continue with the restrictions to protect them.

Absolutely spot on Togo, that's what I'm afraid of.
Just a thought, if we had a black prime minister would they have had the same attitude towards the vaccine?
