Mother = Birthing parent! Breast feeding = Chest feeding! For gawds sake how far are we expected to go to accommodate these people?

Again, one individual... doesn't prove the trans are going to take over does it.
You didn't read it, I guess? Even if it was just the handful named here (which it obviously isn't), can you give one single reason why a woman's career, health, safety, should be wrecked, because a man says so?
I did read it. Did you read the paragraph about Eric Vilain from your own link? He seems to be quite a qualified person to comment.
"Eric Vilain, the director of the Institute For Society And Genetics at UCLA, worked with the Association of Boxing Commissions when they wrote their policy on transgender athletes. He stated in Time magazine that "Male to female transsexuals have significantly less muscle strength and bone density, and higher fat mass, than males" and said that, to be licensed, transgender female fighters must undergo complete "surgical anatomical changes ..., including external genitalia and gonadectomy" and subsequently a minimum of two years of hormone replacement therapy, administered by a board certified specialist. In general concurrence with peer-reviewed scientific literature, he states this to be "the current understanding of the minimum amount of time necessary to obviate male hormone gender related advantages in sports competition". Vilain reviewed Fox's medical records and said she has "clearly fulfilled all conditions." When asked if Fox could, nonetheless, be stronger than her competitors, Vilain replied that it was possible, but noted that "sports is made up of competitors who, by definition, have advantages for all kinds of genetics reasons"."

Seems they have accounted for the differences in the rules by obliging hormone therapy.
I did..and why is he qualified?
He is a physician and scientist with expertise on the matter.
Although he certainly has an unfortunate name!
Hormones aren't the only difference. He is comparing bone density to other men, not to women. Also, he is ignoring musculature, general bone strength, larger heart and lungs, more red blood cells, larger frame, especially shoulders, narrower pelvis, different brains....etc Lopping a couple of external parts off and giving fake hormones, doesn't change any of that.
The journal Nature (a very prestigious scientific journal) referred to him as "one of the world's foremost experts on the genetic determinants of DSDs" (Differences of Sex Development)... he is a fellow of the american college of medical genetics and serves on the olympic medical commission...

Seems about the best qualified person around to me!
Haaa! Indeed pixie what would a person like that know about hormones eh? He's only one of the leading experts on sex differences in the world.

Still, if you think so then more power to you.
Clearly not. Especially when he is going with PC rather than truth.
Read it again.... not just what he says, but what he doesn't.
He said that she has met all the conditions that eliminate male hormonal advantages... conditions he obviously agrees with because he wrote them.
I'm sure. But unless he had his muscles redesigned and heart and lungs reduced, etc etc.... it's irrelevant. Even women have differences in hormone levels. He is careful not to suggest that, you'll notice.
If the world's leading expert on sex differences is happy for her to compete under conditions that he set to ensure fair advantage - in consultation with the body that oversees her sport - then that's fine by me. I don't see how you could possibly put it to a fairer test.
"Fair advantage" - bit inarticulate of me but I'm sure you get the gist.
The fairest test, while still allowing for competition- is for men to compete against men, and women to compete against women. There is nothing that can be done to turn one into the other. Otherwise, women athletes would all just identify as men, and beat everyone.
I don't think that's likely pixie and I'm not convinced that a few isolated examples prove anything of the sort is happening... certainly not enough for a parent to tell their girl "not to bother"
Untitled, I would also hate for my daughters to spend years of their lives training and working.... only to be beaten by a man.

Out of interest, do you have any names of women, who have claimed to be male and won sporting competitions?
Can't say I follow it closely pixie, so no (assuming you mean "transgender men")
