Nurses Pay Rise
would you accept a tax increase to give the NHS staff a bigger pay rise? If everyone who clapped agreed they could pay them more but I wonder how many would actually agree to paying for it?

But not just to pay nurses m. Imagine if nurses got say 5% increase and then were told income tax had gone to 25p in pound for all so there no better off. The goverment sadly would be slated if it put up tax as it foolishly promised not to increase them so its hands are tied.
My family has a few nurses so 5% would be nice but its not life changing and should all hospital doctors get 5% too. Or 12.5%? No chance. It would have such a knock on effect for police, teacher's, carer's and council staff and should state benefits also go up by the same?
