I'm most known for news so I'm putting this here. I took off the adblocker to type this. I can barely type a word without she ite hopping all over the screen, the site is unusable. I may be back when I figure out a way the make this site viable again. Who would have thought it, veteran of many suspensions I finally get expelled by ads! PMSL! TTFN.

I am using Safari on iPad, and nothing is different. What is the problem and with which browsers and OS ?

You don't have to click and buy, or even click on an advert......AB can simply show its' advertisers how many 'clicks' were generated across the platform, translate that into 'advert-viewings' and charge accordingly.

As BM said, AnswerBank also owes me nothing, it will be a shame to see it buckle under the weight of the advertising it will carry and become fundamentally unstable to use.

I access this mainly on my phone these days, and I don't have an issue with adverts at all.

I do on a PC. I guess whoever runs this has to walk a fine line between attracting advertisers because of all the users it has and losing users because of all the adverts they have annoying them.

I've got an ad for a Conveen Urine Leg Bag. Somebody's twigged that the average ABer is over 80 (as if you couldn't tell from reading the posts).

Exactly, tomus. Although, we aren't the priority. The aim seems to be many different daily short-term posters. When it comes to money, it often ends up as quantity over quality. A shame, though.
