//Thank god most realise it's about maleness and not religion. // If 'maleness' is the fundamental problem we would see male names from an assortment of cultures on that list - but we don't. Those people who allegedly 'realise', consistently ignore the elephant in the room and are in denial - and denial of this on-going abuse does nothing to help the victims....

//"Spell it out then Tora, what is your "logical conclusion"?// - surprised that's needed butoif you like. The number of cases like this indicates that Muslim men have a liking for grooming and abusing young women in a systematic organised process. Not saying they are the only abusers but they have perfected the conveyor belt system of doing so en masse. - That help?
TTT - // I love the way all the great liberal thinkers rally round trying divert the attention away from what is the obvious conclusion. //
I am not a 'great liberal thinker' - and I not trying to divert the attention away from what is 'the obvious conclusion' - mainly because it is neither a conclusion, nor is it obvious.
What it is, is faulty reasoning - the idea that being a Muslim makes male believers prone to acts of sexual abuse.
By that logic, a dog born in a stable must be a horse.
Faulty reasoning, possibly clouded by your in-built hostility towards a culture you don't understand, so it frightens you.

TTT, interesting that you class them as muslim... without acknowledgement that they are all male. Maybe look closer at the real statistics? You seem to be batting on the wrong side.
To answer, it takes a while... as confidence of victims to come forwards, to be actually believed, to also be able to prove it beyond reasonable doubt and to be able to find the right perpetrators and put them in the right place at the right time, to even have a chance.

yeah it frightens me Andy, but what frightens me more is our own libfac hordes who defend every atrocity with their usual tune: "oo it's only the extremists, most of them are fluffy bunny wonder muslims who wouldn't hurt a fly" - mean while the state apparatus is paralyzed by fear of being labelled something other than 100% woke, yeah I'm scared alright, scared of where it's heading.
Strangely, I'm more scared of those who eagerly tar all with the same brush. Individuals who do horrible crimes like this should face the maximum sentence, regardless of colour or faith. I'm not going to look cross eyed at someone based on what someone who looks similar has done. That's not being woke, it's being decent.
I've only just read the rest of thread. Thank god most realise it's about maleness and not religion. You really need to do some research, ttt, before you next attempt a random reason. Have a look, honestly, and see where the biggest risk actually is.
It won't be pleasant, as you will see, it isn't actually "everyone else", but truth is useful.

Tora - literally no-one has said anything like that. You're taking your own extreme views and applying the opposite to anyone who challenges. It doesn't do any favours for your argument when you make unfounded allegations using such hyperbole.
On a separate note - since bigotry on this thread has been alleged shouldn't such posts be removed? Bigotry is against the Site Rules after all.

find me a case where 29 non muslim men are convicted of what these have been, interlinked systematic abuse. Then look at the other N cases after the last few years and do the same. Are you really saying that you can dismiss this as purely a male abuse thing? It may not be a religious thing but it is a trait of male followers of the religion.
pixie: "On a separate note - since bigotry on this thread has been alleged shouldn't such posts be removed? Bigotry is against the Site Rules after all." - you mean someone calling it bigotry is enough to make it so! Right oh! Libfac bigotry is taking this site over if I called that out every time there'd be nowt left.
