Nothing On Israel It Seems

Are the Israelis justified taking out buildings when Hamas are using them to hide their missiles and even their intelligence (in the press building). To be fair on the latter, they gave warning to all to get out before they flattened the place. Isn't it cynical of Hamas to be stuffing the missiles into the cellars with ordinary residents living above them.
What's the way out as to breaking the impasse?

Mossad has done far more to counter Hamas than these bloodthirsty awful counterstrikes have ever done...
You insist I am wrong... yet you cannot seem to explain why.

indeed... you insist that I'm wrong because israel isn't currently doing what I suggest, so it must be wrong. But israeli politicians are just like politicians everywhere - self-serving people who simply cannot tolerate "looking weak", even if it means doing things that are pointless or self-sabotaging.
Every missile that Hamas sends (if it hits) guarantees a massive response from Israel, which guarantees more new recruits for Hamas to carry out their war for them while the leaders relax in Turkish luxury.
The only people this policy benefits is Hamas... it is not good for Israel and certainly not for Palestinians... I have yet to see a good reason why it should be continued.

Hamas are the proxy organisation for Iran. If Iran made the attacks openly then Israel could flatten the midden. They know that, so hide behind the Palestinian people. They cause them more harm than Israel does. Indeed the only place that Palestinians could obtain a covid jab was in Israel. Perhaps Israel should take out the Iranians instead. The rockets from Hamas will stop. Hamas did more damage to the local economy with the explosion in the storage facilities(for the compounds to make the explosives for the rockets) than Israel has in all the conflicts. Time to sort the Iranians out before they are building nuclear weapons. There is the first, full scale nuclear war crucible. Nutters with atomics will make this look like a fireworks display. First time anyone has ever advocated letting an attacker carry on attacking you in the belief that it will persuade him to stop. Sound more like a Primary School lesson. Put your hand up and tell Miss if someone hits you children, and we will make them stand in the corner.
If Hamas are so devout then why do their leaders live in the lap of luxury and send their children to posh schools? Why don't they get involved themselves? Why do they smuggle drugs?
Whatever their stated religious goals are their priority is obviously to enjoy their war and let other people do the dying...

// ...for Israel let herself be annihilated would be madness... //
The present conflict started on 15th April. A small (dumb) rocket fired from the Gaza Strip struck an empty field. It cause no damage, no one was killed or injured.
In response, Israel launched a major offensive, killing hundreds of people, injuring thousands, and inflicting $billions in damage.
The retaliation was not proportional. Israel is vastly more armed thanks to the US and UK. Israel has the best Missile defence system in the world. A Palestinian rocket is no threat to anyone, it merely a gesture of defiance.
Netanyahu has many problems. A general election (the fourth in 2 years) ending is stalemate. A corruption trial (on 5 charges) just proceeding. Netanyahu uses Palestinian deaths as as electioneering tactic, and the war as masking attention away from his trial for fraud and corruption.

16th April. A few hours after a rocket hit a barren field...
// An Israel Defense Forces statement said fighter jets and other aircraft hit a number of sites linked to Hamas, the Islamist terror organization that rules Gaza. The targets included an armaments production facility, a tunnel for smuggling weaponry and a Hamas military post, according to the IDF. //

I come back to the basics that Israel will 'encourage' the Hamas to fire at them as the Hamas only have limited resources. They'll drain them, move into Gaza and Palestine, take out the smuggling routes and then 'negotiate' from a position of immense strength....the UN, the States will not be able to stop them taking this course. And yes, Benji Netanhayu emerges smelling of roses.....
The relevant question in all of this is if Israel wants to break this cycle of extreme poverty in Gaza, outright hatred of them, then will they allow for economic investment - or will this be a cover for the Iranians et 'extreme' groups to pounce and invest in even more catastrophic weaponry for the future.
As to Hamas, they don't give a toss about their citizens, it's all fodder for the propagandists...not only locally but for extremists here and elsewhere - and for fuelling those as-ho-es in St Johns Wood etc.

Thanks for the link Sunk. Had you bothered to post it in the first place I wouldn’t have sought to verify your post.
Atheist, no needle twist. Sunk is renowned for failing to post links especially when his claims are questionable. Do you want to join the discussion or did you just pop in to have a dig at me?
