I've never worn a mask in the street however crowded it may or may not have been. It's rare to see anyone in our village wearing a mask and I feel that the few who do are just plain weird. And as for lone occupants of a car wearing a mask - why on earth? If you cast your mind back to spring/summer 2020 lockdown version 1, no-one wore a mask and case levels dropped right down. So why are we still required to wear one now in shops, on public transport etc etc ? Let's get rid of the damn things now.
Can;t see much harm in allowing people personal choice in the matter.
i think shops may still choose to enforce no matter what the govt say
Just out of habit I guess and also regardless of who they are supposedly protecting, I feel better with one on, particularly because of the delta variant. As I said it's a personal preference.
If I recall correctly, many people in Japan have been wearing masks over the years due to pollution. I think its Japan anyway.
It's not "personal preference" though. It's being forced upon us by this hopeless government.
Is it?

I wasn't aware of being told to wear masks in the open air.

Or are we still referring to Madrid?
When 60,000 are going to be allowed into Wembley Stadium for the European semi finals and final ….
That’s me going maskless now
Tigger //. I think its Japan anyway//

its all very well saying "im going maskless" but if the shop, or pub or whatever you want to go in wants you to you'll have to if you want to go in. We have already established you dont have to wear thm in the street
I’ll wear one in a pub and in a restaurant but not in shopping malls etc as we’ve been told to
what's the etc? If shopping centres say you must wear ne for entry (which they might or maybe wont) you'll have to though won't you?
ps, im not picking on you directly bobbi, and it may be that shops say its ok to go without one (in fact, most shops dont haven sentries on the door like they used to)
I’ve seen many in shops without masks on , more and more , same as on a bus , I’ll watch for those two etc’s and see where it goes ,
The driver never says a word but then why should he? He’s not being paid to be a mask police !
As for shopping centres , there’s more not wearing one now than is
Thanks, Danny. For some reason I thought it was Japan.

you cant get on a public bus in many places in Spain without a mask. If fact those which are seen not wearing one are usually drunks, this always involves a small delay until he/she leaves the bus.
