No-one has ever had to wear a face-covering outside (doesn't have to be a mask) - there are some oddities who do.
I've never worn a mask outdoors (except, obviously, for when just walking between one shop and a neighbouring one, when there's little point in removing my mask anyway).

I always wear one indoors though (except when at home or when seated in a café or bar).

Unlike Bobbisox's experiences (up in the north-east of England), I can't recall seeing a single person not wearing a mask in shops, shopping malls, etc in Ipswich (where I do most of my shopping) for many months now. Even young children (who're exempted from wearing masks) all seem to be wearing them in shops here.

We all seem to be remarkably good at sticking to rules around here. Perhaps that's why Ipswich has the lowest rate of infection in the entire country?

Yes....with 817 cases/100k down here, thanks to the efffing press at G7 and the polis too....we're now one of the highest in the country, having started at 3/100k. Thank you, Boris, and 67 million into Camborne, St. Hives and Pen-lance is not going to compensate for that.

I’ve stopped (as of last week) wearing them even in the shops.

I do carry it in my pocket and will put it on - if asked. So far most shops haven’t said a thing.

I do however still do the disinfecting of my hands and the trolley.

The over Zelaous Mod has let her mask slip.
Do people wear masks? I haven't so far. I have to laugh when I see a lone driver in a car wearing one. Can understand taxi drivers, but others? Travelling on your own? Come on folks, come on! I say!
Gulliver do you honestly think you’d continue to get away with your nasty rudeness if Mamya was a Mod?
I'll be delighted when we can stop wearing them. Horrible not being able to see faces - and smiles.
Gulliver, Mamya isn't a moderator and she doesn't deserve your rudeness.
