No. But I would say that, wouldn't I. It's the 5yr olds who are being force fed this guff, along with other guff, in school who might actually believe it.

No. But I would say that, wouldn't I.
It's the 5yr olds who are being force fed this guff, along with other guff, in school who might actually believe it.
I'm weaving a hair shirt as we speak.
On a more serious note, spicerack is right. Our main concern should be for the damaging 'woke' nonsense that's being fed to our children. They're in danger of growing up afraid to breathe lest they do it the wrong way.
So the child abuse scandal wasn't enough for you to stop giving Oxfam your money, Webbo?
Can't see anything here which shows Oxfam expecting white people to apologise for whiteness.
I never give money to any of the large charity corporations. Better to search out small local charities that often struggle for donations.

I had already stopped
//Can't see anything here which shows Oxfam expecting white people to apologise for whiteness.//

Then you are part of the problem. (Clue they dont say it directly)

I dont give money to big charities where the directors trouser a large salary.
It seems a bizarre interpretation of what they are saying. They have referred to systemic racism, and he is taking it personally, as if it means white individuals are racist. It's about history, not an accusation.

from the article
\\His remarks come after the charity Oxfam circulated a survey to its 1,800 staff in Britain which describes “whiteness” as “the overarching preservation of power and domination for the benefit of white people”.//

what a load of old pony! More Libfac, woke, TROB Equine Guano. Let's all take a knee and flagellate ourselves!
Yes, webbo... not an accusation to individuals, which is how he has taken it. Maybe it is just really badly written and leaving a lot out. But, what is there, is disjointed.
I certainly don't like the sound of a survey that makes such statements, puts you on the back foot before you even fill it in.

They should be seeking to close divisions and not widen them.
13.18. If it’s about history we shouldn’t be apologising for that either.
I've never given to Oxfam, long before all the scandals, their use of the money has always been questionable.
That's the point. We can only slowly change it. One is referring to systemic and the other is taking it personally.
I am not a great Oxfam giver - high admin costs....
( it is those leddies I know ....)
