Now she's creating divisions by trying to link a gangland shooting with racism!

If you live your life assuming that anything and everything involving a black person occurs because they are black, and for no other reason - as Diane Abbot does - then you are always going to come up against situations like this.
You shoehorn a racist motive into a situation, and then have to fail to argue that, and that you are incorrect, whihc makes you look naive for your original position, and bull-headed for refusing to accept that you are actually funadmentally wrong in your assessment.
Welcome to Diane's world.
I wouldn't trust her to walk my dog round the block, and I don't have a dog.

Jackdaw - // Is this a recent recording? I hardly recognised her, not as full in the face as she was. //
It must be - the incident under discussion is recent.
Stating, as Ms Abbott did, that the lady in question was shot in the head, and that she is a mother was hardly grist to her argument, rather more a case of the verbal wheel-spinning in which she indulges when trying desperately not to look as though she has no idea what she is going to say next.

seven - // "Seven - Not sure what the relevance of that is to this thread - ?"
1. Dale
2.Admitting they are wrong //
There is still no connection that I can see between Mr Dale's action, for which he apologised and was cautioned, and Ms Abbott's typically pointless droning about yet something else, the significance of which she has singularly failed to grasp.
// Some people cannot admit they are wrong, eh Andy ? //
If that is aimed at me personally, then again you are wide of the mark - history shows that I have no problem at all with admitting if and when I am in error, and I have done it many times during my tenure on the AB.

Once again - where is the connection?
Diane Abbott wouldn't know how to admit she is wrong if her life depended on it - and she certainly didn't in this clip.
The OP is about Ms Abbott's pointless attempt to bring racism into a crime, when witnesses at the time confirm that it was not the motvation.
What does that have to do with Iain Dale being 'wrong'?

david small - // She’s obviously got certain mental difficulties, but why does she get consistently returned as an MP?
I know why, really. //
I think we all do - but if any of the major parties was to field a black candidate in the next election, we may well see her shunted aside in favour of someone who, by default, will have a better idea of what is going on, and how to talk about it cohernetely in the national media.
