Yet Another Anti-Vaxer Dies.
You have to feel sorry for this nurse - struggling to keep the NHS afloat, but then her anti-vax Mum dies of Covid-19.

This is not the first thread to announce the death of an anti-vaxxer with the subsequent idiot and refuse healthcare comments. I can only assume those posters think the jab gives someone divine protection.
There is no knowing that if this woman had been vaccinated she wouldn't have died. It's very sad all round.

I wouldn't say I felt gleeful but there's definitely some karma in this one

it's one thing to be an anti-vaxxer, it's another to preach it over the radio, sing a Beatles spoof called Vaxman on air... and then as you're dying to advise listeners to get vaccinated after all (while still insisting there are some “very effective alternatives” to immunisation).

Even if its 30% of covid hospitalised have had vaccines as woofgang mentions that'd a pretty low figure given that the vaccinated account for over 80 % of population. Looking at it other way round it means the 20% unvaxed account for 70% of hospitalisations. Only rough figures and may need taking to adjust for children but the patterns clear.
On the OP though I think these posts now are a bit distasteful and repetative. Sort of gloating
