94.0% of people living in Driffield and Rural were born in England. Other top answers for country of birth were 1.8% Scotland, 0.6% Wales, 0.3% Northern Ireland, 0.3% Ireland, 0.1% South Africa, 0.1% Hong Kong , 0.1% United States, 0.1% Philippines, 0.1% India.

The mural is made up of members of the Town Centre Steering Group - if therefore it is a fair representation of that group the people haven't understood or been told that - perhaps that's the reason for the mixed views.
