IT should also be No mask at work , sack em .No mask in a shop or supermarket No service. The anti maskers are as bad as the anti vaccine clowns they are just pig headed idiots. What a totally ridiculous thing to propose gullible. Get back into your dark place. Stop missing your meds. It’s plain who’s the idiot here.

dannyk13,
very interesting (but many assumptions)

Summary, the vaccine helps prevent death but helps prevent less in the elderly.
david small - I already have a hopeless feeling as I type this - some people cannot safely or easily wear masks. One or 2 on this site. Should they be prevented from doing normal things like shopping - especially if they are double-jabbed, gel hands and space as much as possible? Just asking so I can understand what sort of mind wants to create paraiahs out of normal people who are just that bit different.
The ongoing problem with the virus is people tripping and falling as they run in circles, hands pressed to faces in terror instead of getting on with their lives.
But that's hard to do douglas with the government threatening to bring in lockdowns, bringing back masks (which they told us a couple of months ago that we no longer had to wear) and passports to get into certain places ! I'm trying my very best to get on with my life, but constantly being thwarted ..
Very seriously. We (88 & 72) are just getting on with our lives. We are not running around scared, but happily greeting and chatting to people. O.H. puts a mask on when he goes to the doctor's and I have to accompany him (maskless) to interpret what masked nurse says. Apart from that - we are living normally - so why, oh why! isn't everyone else? We are double jabbed so less likely to die from Covid (which was unlikely in the first place - it's an inefficient virus, only a few % death rate and most of those in older people).
By now the NHS should be able to cope - so that reason goes out of the window.

I can remember a smallpox epidemic/scare when I was small --- now that was a very nasty killer of a virus. Please can people get back on balance before we all live in fear all the time?
