Very seriously. We (88 & 72) are just getting on with our lives. We are not running around scared, but happily greeting and chatting to people. O.H. puts a mask on when he goes to the doctor's and I have to accompany him (maskless) to interpret what masked nurse says. Apart from that - we are living normally - so why, oh why! isn't everyone else? We are double jabbed so less likely to die from Covid (which was unlikely in the first place - it's an inefficient virus, only a few % death rate and most of those in older people).
By now the NHS should be able to cope - so that reason goes out of the window.
I can remember a smallpox epidemic/scare when I was small --- now that was a very nasty killer of a virus. Please can people get back on balance before we all live in fear all the time?
