// It means "dumbing down"//
yeah they - want more Judges named Wayne and Sharon

Like my dear mother said
I dont care what gender he is: can he do the operation?
( actually it was about rudeness in the goodold days when surgeons were rude to everyone ( er xc their dear wives)

I thought LCJ waynetta didnt do too well on Desert Island discs - like you know - can we leave her there ?
i always thought levelling up in this context meant going up to the next level (like in gaming) rather than making things level

// We now have a centre left party in power that is New Labour in all but name. //

You don’t half write some load of cobblers sometimes.
They are very right of centre, but they are also uniquely rubbish. Borrowing £400 Million plus and not really having much to show for it (except for a few even more wealthy friends).
* £400 Billion plus *
Teacake
// don't just give way in the first few weeks. A bit like the 1% for the NHS. Then when they do get it their has happy as Larry thinking they got one over on the government. //

Meanwhile, back in the real world…

// NHS staff have voted overwhelmingly to oppose the government’s 3% pay rise as Britain’s biggest health union warned thousands of workers are “fed up of being taken for granted”.

Publishing the results of a consultation exercise that ran over the summer, Unison said the majority (80%) of health staff were not happy with the pay increase and want to challenge the government. //
gromit "Borrowing £400 Million plus and not really having much to show for it (except for a few even more wealthy friends). " - it was spent on the covid crisis, where do you think they got all the furlough dosh etc? You really are a superstar when it comes to omitting the obvious.
gromit: "You don’t half write some load of cobblers sometimes. " - err look in the mirror me old china!
Gromit, TTT is right. You do write a load of cobblers at times.
