If you are going to protest about anything, there is only eve a point if the person to whom you are going to protest shows the slightest inkling that they are interested in listening to you.

Ms Thunburg's 'people' are bright enough to know that China does not qualify.

ok but UK should be last on the list.
TTT,
You really must seek medical help for your obsession with this teenager.

Obviously when Boris uses the phrase “expensive bunny hugging” it is hilarious and shows what a jolly chap he is.
When a young girl repeats it, she is being disrespectful to her elders.
"Can someone show her where China is please" Think you ought to be able to
......Me old china
Can I have a link to China. thanks
The Labore party are pledging to spend £28bn per year on climate change..when elected..mind you.. £28bn wont be worth much by then.
Well her and her ilk wont will they. too much like hard work.

Unfortunately we have a liberal green PM who is fast wrecking the country with green policies.
The UK, one of the top climate responders ?

What a double act you and Tora are.
She’s a very easy target even for you ttt.
I too am waiting for her to make arrangements to visit China. Then I might just take her seriously.

Gromit, I don't think we're doing too badly.
""It's vital for all of us to show that this is not all about some expensive, politically correct green act of bunny hugging... This is about growth and jobs" says PM Boris @ EarthDay summit.

Business ( perpetual 'growth'), as deluded usual.
The proles must be 'green' indeed to believe the callow optimism of Greta or specious duplicity of Johnson..

" Each of the 1.39 billion lithium ion batteries could only have a useful working life of 8 to 10 years. So, 8-10 years after manufacture, new replacement batteries will be required, from either a mined mineral source, or a recycled metal source. This is unlikely to be practical, which suggests the whole EV battery solution may need to be re-thought and a new solution is developed that is not so mineral intensive.” Geological Survey of Finland --- 20.8.2021

WARNING! rather LARGE pdf ... above is on page 4, of a thousand...

7OP you never seem to actually make a valid point, just post some quotes without explanation or context or a link to a long document hardly anyones likely to give up there time to read
//What a double act you and Tora are.//

So I guess if all you can do is attack other posters you have no real argument then?
Its just an observation that your point is nonsense in that Boris is certainly not "a liberal green PM who is fast wrecking the country with green policies." He may be wrecking the country in other ways but not through green policys
bobbinwales. "The proles must be 'green' indeed to believe the callow optimism of Greta or specious duplicity of Johnson.. "

My point "The proles must be 'green' indeed to believe the callow optimism of Greta or specious duplicity of Johnson.. "

meaning, both Greta and Boris in dreamland, Boris because 'Business as Usual' model = GDP growth which uses even more fossil fuel,
Greta because she believes this Green Magic nonsense, as per example Electric vehicle fuel needs ( not possible to supply electricity needed without use of fossil fuels) and even more fossil fuel to mine, refine, and build Electric Vehicles, which have short battery life .

Hope this aids your comprehension. (: - )
Thanks 7OP. Its a good example of why its always better to explain a quote or link to a long document or youtube clip. You had'nt signposted the point about batterys was linked to something Greta was pushing for- just thought it was another antigrowth point of yours, so it would of gone over most peoples heads.
Am not sure youll win arguments by using terms like proles to describe large chunk's of the population
bobbinwales.
I have zero intention or desire to 'win' arguments, just make people aware of the available facts with examples/sources - not my biased opinion without reasons - and people can read the sources and make up their own opinion.

Prole,( abbreviation of proletariat) a member of the working class. That's me.

Just like Greta does but she gets a hard time for it
Nobody on here bar me watched the recent 3 part programme on the BBC they just dismissed it and her out of hand
In reality her direct involvement was only about 20 percent
The rest was experts and scientists providing data and evidence to back her claims
But nobody likes to hear the truth if it is presented by a child as most said she was when in fact she was in the verge of adulthood
Aye, always easy to have a "go" at someone online. At least she's doing something and not sitting on her arris in front of a computer screen from morning to night playing the keyboard warrior. If you're in the least bit concerned about global warming then get out there and do something - however small. Going to China might be an idea - just so long as some of you (and you know who you are) stay there.
