looks like the EUSSR hissy fit has cost their best payer billions as predicted when project fear was being bandied about. Play hard ball with the UK and there is only one outcome.

Look, German car sales are down...let's Herald that as a Triumph.

"It's like a broken record"
now thats irony coming from you but true
I wonder how other car sales have been affected. The Express seem to be concentrating on the Germans, but I don't think any other manufacturers can be doing much better. I mean, who can afford a fresh-out-the-factory, brand spanking new motor right now?
Meanwhile our exports are down £36 billion in the 6 months Jan-May 2021 - everyone's a winner!

As I said Archi, nobody has much cash to go round after 18 months of covid nastiness. Very little to do wirh B****t.
lol, Mozz, mention bad UK data and everyone shouts "It's not Brexit, it's Covid!"

Now suddenly it's the other way round. Who would've thought, eh?

The tragedy is that British car owners will all be having to buy Robin Reliants now. There's probably a TV sitcom in that somewhere.
"Three-Wheeling Out of Europe"

I'll start the script, you start the casting.
Electric cars faired well.
I wonder if Austin Healey's available to play the Alfa Romeo?
Roy - They might not get as much use when the costs go through the roof for electric.

I thought Triumph were bikes Roy ☺
Jno, I expect wind fronts coming in from Europe are being turned away at the border.
we'll just have to import them direct from Siberia, then, as in previous winters (if Putin permits)
I don't think we need it. I'm sure that there's more that enough hot air coming from parliament to powers out wind turbines.
// UK car sales slumped in 2020. Over the year they were down almost 30%. That’s the biggest annual drop since 1943, back in the depths of World War II.

Demand was hardest hit in April, when sales dropped 97%. The UK Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders warned Wednesday (November 6) that Brexit still poses risks. //

The fall in German exports to the UK might give our Xenophobes cause to cheer, but the same is happening the other way. Proof that Brexit is harming our country.

By "hissy fit" I assume you mean "following the rules that the UK insisted on". Every offer that the EU made in the way of trade deals was blocked Boris to appease the hard-brexiters on the far right of his party.
I agree Mozz it's not all to do with Brexit and the article I linked to also says that.
