Lots of people don't seem to want that. They want full lockdown. They were prepared to follow the advice for lockdown, but not follow it when the advice changes. People have got used to lockdown. They seem to like it, for some reason.
BTW, did anyone see the two photos in the DM yesterday, where the MPs were stood in silence for Sir David Amess?
On the Tory side, only 3 MPs were wearing facemasks; on the Labour side everyone was wearing one. The perfect illustration that people want ignore govt advice and remember the good old days of full lockdown!

Bobbinwales, I've just looked at some stats online, and those show the UK is fifteenth (when it comes to percentage of the population vaccinated). We're behind France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, and just ahead of Germany. I was disappointed to see this as our initial efforts had been so praiseworthy.
Yes thats because of 12-18s. We should of started sooner but had to wait for approval from medical approvers whearas others started months ago. But were still doing good on ober 18s and any shortfall from 100% is due to hesitancy/refusal not availability. Just look at the poor figures for prof footballers- could be 100% as all have been offered but only 60% have taken up both so far.
Hard to blame any politician for that- gulliver should be pointing fingers at the refusers/ CBA's

Agreed. We're behind on 12-18s but thats not as significant as it would be if we were behind on say over 60s where we got ahead early on.
But we are where we are and theres still trouble ahead, deaths are too high and complacency or even refusal on vaccinnes, masks, social distancing, and winter is going to make it worse
